READ ALOUD BIBLE STORIES

Read-Aloud Bible Stories
Each of the four volumes in this series of large-format books contains five Bible stories retold for young children. The very large, full-color illustrations are excellent for young children (they are simple and fully cover every story page). The text is kept very simple, [e.g., "Jesus' friends thought, Oh. Jesus is NOT too busy for boys and girls. He loves them."] and at the end of each story there are some simple questions to ask children. Also, there are no pictures of Jesus in these books, even when the stories being told are from the Gospels. (Jesus is pictured from behind.)
Author: Ellla K. Lindvall.
Size: 8.5 x 11..
Approximate Length of Books: 160 pages.
Illustrations: Very large, full color illustrations that full cover every page.
Age Group: Pre-school.

THE WONDERS OF GOD'S CREATION

The Wonders of God's Creation
The four books in this series seek "to present examples of the marvels of creation in plain style and emphasize the impossibility of these things being brought into existence by evolution." They also to show the work of "the all wise, all knowing Creator God" in the numberless facets of His creation. The stories are each about a page long and include such topics as "The Desert Wise Cactus Wren," "The Awesome Tiger," and "Sweating is Good for You." They all begin with a Bible verse and often include exhortations to faith in God and in Jesus Christ. Many speak of how foolish it is to think that anything came into being through the process of evolution.
